Anonymous Comment On Fabrike Jeyasingh's Fear of Freedom of Speech

Editorial Comment:

Fabrike Jeyasingh, a leader of the Fabrike effort to steal our country from us Seselwa Rasin, has made efforts, to in our view squelch freedom of speech of others to in our opinion serve his PP Collaborator masters. Though there has been nothing presented about the legality or illegality of the manner Fabrike Jeyasingh obtained his citizenship, Jeyasingh has steadfastly refused to directly deny allegations that he participated in or knew of money laundering activities while he was employed with Nuvoubanq. He has also steadfastly refused to explain the circumstances in which he was granted his Fabrike citizenship.

Anonymous Comment Follows:

Jeyasingh, welcome to the world of free speech.

Defend yourself if you don't like what is being written about you. But remember it is you who called Gill and others who support this movement Nazi.

I am not a Nazi. I simply love my country Seychelles. If you came here to work, we welcomed you into our homeland. This is OUR homeland, not yours. I don't hate you for coming to work here, but I also do not believe that you are entitled to citizenship either. At least not until you have met all the rules and regulations of the naturalisation process.

If you live in Seychelles long enough, or marry a Seychelloise and decide this is where you want to spend the rest of your life, then by all means go through the proper naturalisation and immigration process and apply to become a citizen. The process should be clean and clear for all. If you then satisfy the criteria, the country will award you the coveted citizenship status and you will be issued with a passport.

The problem today is that the SPPF has sold citizenship to just about everyone and the funds have disappeared into their overseas bank account. Would you be proud to become a citizen of a country by paying off a corrupt politician? Would you not prefer to become a proud Seychelles citizen by going through the proper process? I am sure any law abiding hopeful citizen would choose the latter.

Just because we are honest, proud patriots do not make us Nazis. We want proper law and order in our country and naturalisation/citizenship laws that apply to everyone, not just a few elite or corrupt individuals like Ramados or Krecjir. I am not opposed to any foreign person becoming a Seychellois citizen. But he or she must do so legally and go through the proper channels instead of being handed a passport by State House in exchange for a bag of dirty money or other dark favours for the President or his bunch of corrupt Ministers and entourage.

Honest men live honest lives Mark Jeyasingh. They are respected and they live their lives with respect. I don't know the Gill brothers personally and while I do not agree with everything they write, they do so with honesty, sincerity and love for Seychelles. It is unfortunate that Albert Rene and James Michele did not have the ethics of the Gill brothers. If they did, Seychelles would be a much better country today, free of corruption, hate and division amongst its people.

The SPPF has destroyed a beautiful nation and shattered the peace of our islands. Morality is at its lowest, and drugs, prostitution and corruption are the norms. SPPF has shamed our country and we simply want to take it back, clean it up and put it back on a pedestal. We are not racist or xenophobic.

If you are a Seychellois, then join me in this cause as you have one vote just like me. Vote the SPPF out and I assure you that it will be a bright new beginning for OUR country! And people like you Mark can proudly call yourself a naturalised Seychellois.

Talking Points - Foreign Commissioner of Tax & Revenue Resigns - Shows Power of Seselwa Rasin

By: Leonard Francis Gill

Rene Nusse the Austalian Commissioner of Tax & Revenue has resigned. This resignation has come after much protest by The Mouvman, and, in particular, Christopher Gill, who objected to Mr. Nusse placing his photograph as the central figure on the Tax & Revenue website. It has been The Mouvman's position that a foreigner's photo in such a prominent location on the Tax & Revenue website, undermined the national sovereignty and dignity of the Rasin homeland.

The Mouvman also objected to a foreign Commissioner, since there are many qualified Seselwa Rasin, here and abroad, who can and are willing to do the job, if adequately compensated.

The key point which Nusse's resignation makes is that we Seselwa Rasin are not powerless to affect the direction of our country. We can, wherever we see foreigners and Fabrike controlling our country and destiny, resist them. We need not make a big or public scene of our resistance either. We can actively but non-violently and subliminally resist their encroachment into our motherland. We can refuse to cooperate with them in small but significant ways that when accumulated amounts to significant resistance.

We can withhold our cooperation in any small way we can, even by refusing to greet them or give them a cup of coffee, or refuse to show up for appointments, or by pointing out their lack of moral authority over us us since they are foreigners or Fabrike, and do so at every opportunity we can. As to the Fabrike who have supported Ramadoss in taking over the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we can avoid and boycott their businesses as much as possible. Hurt their economic interested in any way you can, in whatever small way you can - the cumulative effect of our collective Rasin effort will be substantial. Make it impossible for them to continue to stay in our country and to aid the PP Collaborators to keep power and sell out our motherland from right under our noses.

What is clear is that if we refuse to allow the PP Collaborators and their Fabrike and foreign friends to rule us, they simply cannot do so. This is our power fellow Seselwa Rasin - our consent to be governed, or our refusal to be subjugated; for the time being we will find small but important ways to resist and thereby to overcome.

IUS Suffrage's Comment on Herr Fabrike Jeyasingh's Thin Skin

Herr Jayasingh you are taking all this rather personally and you display all the symptoms of a man on the defensive. If you don't have anything to hide, take it easy buddy.

With regards to my identity, you should know by now that many who openly defied Rene and his mafia have been killed and that includes our great hero and leader Gerard Hoarau who was killed in the streets of London. I have taken General Sun Tzu's(The Art of War) advice to choose my own time and place of engagement. For now you will have to put up with the enigma that is Ius Suffrage. I may be the guy sitting next to you at the bar of the Beau Vallon Bay or one of the babes in Francis Savy's fashion shows.

This bunch of rabble who run our country have no idea what the word policy means. We need a clear policy on immigration that should put the interest of the country and people first. Seychelles is a small country and immigration should be tightly controlled to allow only those who can add value and contribute where a Seychellois cannot. There are many highly trained and professional Seychellois exiles who could contribute to their country but who face terrible impediments on coming back. We should do our best to bring back those people before bringing in immigrants. Again I reiterate that the Swiss model would be very appropriate for Seychelles as it would allow transparency.

You talk about democracy and periodic change of government in Seychelles. Do you know the history of Seychelles prior to June 5th 1977? If not then look it up and you can see that we had some very successful elections and the Seychellois understood and respected the concept of democracy. Perhaps you can ask Pauline Ferrari why her dad (a Chevalier du Pape) conspired in the overthrow of a democratically elected government to install a brutal dictatorship that has wrecked the Seychelles?

FDI in a country has nothing to do with immigration. Companies invariably will invest in economies with clear policies, independent legal systems, stable political systems where the rule of law is respected and where they can expect good returns on their investments. Responsible countries do not sell their citizenship and passports to attract investments. Do you think that the CEOs of all those Korean and Japanese car companies that are investing in Eastern Europe are getting Czech, Polish or Slovak passports? Again the buffoons that run our country have no economic development policy in place.

On the issue of patriotism, it is clear that the patriots of this country are highly frustrated by the way the current dictators are prostituting our passports and citizenship and thus the reaction that you see. What we need is a South African type Reconciliation Commission that will look into all the crimes and injustices and so lance the boil to clear the air of Rene's toxic legacy.

I see that Pauline's answers have degenerated to hahahahahaha. I think that as she stands on very slippery slopes, she has run out of arguments of any value.

You really should stop calling people Nazis.

NEWS Flash - Air Seychelles Annouces New Website Created By Rasin Team - No Plans to Replace Foreigners in the Engineering Dept. With Rasin

EDITORIAL INTRODUCTORY COMMENT
Air Seychelles proudly announced that its new interactive website was developed by "an all-Seychellois team". LAVWA comends Air Seychelles for using an all-Seychellois team, if the team used are Seselwa Rasin and not window dressing Fabrike.

However, LAVWA Seychelles condemns Air Seychelles for its failure to announce plans to replace the extensive number of foreigners in the Engineering Department who have displaced Seselwa Rasin from these high paying jobs.

After decades in service, Air Seychelles has still not devised a systematic and comprehensive training plan to train Seselwa Rasin to replace foreigners who work in many departments of the heavily subsidized airline. This is an abomination, and a violation of the founding principle of our homeland of Sesel Pou Seselwa which must be immediately redressed.

AIR SEYCHELLES PRESS RELEASE

Air Seychelles is proud to announce that its new website www.airseychelles.com is now live in both English and French. It has appeared with a host of functionalities and new capabilities that will greatly benefit not only consumers in search of up-to-date information about the airline, its routes, schedules and services, but also Air Seychelles itself in the way that it is now able to interact with its customers.

Developed by the all-Seychellois team at Switch, a Seychelles-based web development company that is part of the VCS Group, this world-class website was developed thanks to the close working relationship between HM and Switch.

Key functionalities of the new site include an Online Booking Engine that will greatly facilitate the booking process for HM customers as well as an International and Domestic Flight Search capability that will allow the HM clientèle to have access to the latest flight information.

There will also be a Frequent Flyer Plus sign-up option as well as one where users can log in to view their account details in a move that sees the formerly separate FFP website integrated into the new HM website to ensure ease of management and branding consistency.

The What’s New section allows HM to keep its stakeholders updated on new marketing developments and promotional initiatives with additional functions for News, Special Announcements and Sponsorships.

The Download capability allows users to download the in-flight menu and available duty free items whilst the Career Opportunities section will keep job-hunters abreast of employment openings within the airline.

The new website provides an excellent platform for the accurate and consistent brand representation of the airline and also provides detailed corporate information about HM’s history, offices and fleet.

Future plans involve increased visibility for the airline in social media marketing tools such as Facebook as well as the development of new functionalities designed to further widen the scope of the website and its ability to both inform and interact with its client base. German and Italian versions of the website will be appearing soon.

NEWS Flash: Seychelles Anounces Regional Court to Prosecute all Regional Pirates - But has only Two Courtrooms

LAVWA Editorial Comment by Leonard Francis Gill:

It is obvious that this Regional Court is just more grand standing by the PP Collaborator government in Seychelles. The obvious weaknesses to the proposal has been well laid out in the article by Voice of America. The foremost of which is the currently overburdened legal system in Seychelles today.

There are only two functioning courtrooms in the country, in a courthouse that has not received substantial renovations or adequate additions in half a century. While these infrastructure deficiencies can be addressed by adequate funding, and funding seems to have been identified for the purpose, there is a bigger problem. That problem is the corrupt PP Collaborator government who use our motherland Seychelles, and us Seselwa Rasin, as assets to be deployed in the PP Criminal Enterprise. As the Voice of America article points out, there is a significant risk that this effort by the PP Collaborator government to prosecute regional pirates, is only a smokescreen to provide PP Collaborator leaders with a means of obtaining bribes from the Somali pirates. There is a significant risk that the PP Collaborator leaders are simply devising a scheme to obtain bribes from the pirates they will release to Somalia to continue their piracy efforts.

Given the history of corruption of the PP Collaborators, and given the substantial allegations surrounding even the top law enforcement officers of the PP government in financial piracy, kidnapping, extortion, illegal arms dealing, it is fair for a reasonable person to conclude that this is just one more corrupt scheme by the PP Collaborator government to obtain corrupt wealth for themselves at the expense of the international reputation of the Seselwa Rasin homeland.

Article by Voice of America:

In an effort to combat piracy off of the East African coast, the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime and the government of the Seychelles have announced the establishment of a regional center to prosecute suspected pirates on the tiny island nation.

The establishment of the center will allow the European Union Naval Force Somalia, which patrols the Gulf of Aden, to transfer captured pirates to the Seychelles for prosecution. This is the second such institution of its kind, the first residing in Kenya.

In addition to U.N. support, the new center will receive funding from the European Union, Australia, Canada and Germany aimed at strengthening the nation's jurisdictional and procedural capacity to prosecute pirates arrested in the region.

The European Union Naval Force Somalia and the Vienna-based U.N. Office of Drugs and Crime already operates a counter-piracy program based in the Seychelles which will train and assist the nation's coast guard, police and prison officials to properly receive and detain suspects.

Piracy has become a large problem for the small nation over the past year. Increased international patrols in piracy hot spots around East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula have forced pirates to operate farther afield. In March, Somali pirates hijacked a ship near Indian waters, more than 1,600 kilometers off the Somali coast, and pirates now regularly prey on shipping lanes near the Seychelles.

The Seychelles began prosecuting piracy in March, when 11 pirates were arrested off its coast with assistance of the European Union. A further 11 pirates were transferred to Seychelles authorities after being captured by the French Navy near Somalia the same week.

The country has amended its criminal code to allow its courts to prosecute suspected pirates under universal jurisdiction, and many hope the new institution will ease the burden currently placed on Kenya.

But a Horn of Africa analyst for London-based think tank Chatham House, Roger Middleton, says the nation's capacity is too small to solve the problem.

"It is so tiny. It has got two courtrooms in the whole country and something incredible like 100 capacity in all of its prisons. It is really tiny, so it is only going to be able to deal with a very small amount of the pirates that are captured," said Middleton. "There is a huge shortfall and western countries still do not want to take pirates home to deal with them, so they are going to have to find somebody else or other way of get them prosecuted. There are a lot of pirates out there, and no enormous amount of space to send them."

Pirates captured in the region are supposed to be prosecuted in Kenya. The government has separately agreed with the US, EU, Britain, Canada, Denmark and China to accept Somali pirates but in March the country refused to take any more, arguing that the burden should be equally shared among the international community.

Kenya's judicial system is notoriously slow and its prisons already overcrowded. Kenyan officials have asked for additional support to ease the strain, but have not yet specified what is needed.

The Seychelles court will help to alleviate the judicial burden, but it does not solve the problem of imprisonment. While the country has agreed to prosecute the suspects, it has asserted that those convicted be returned to Somalia to serve their sentences.

Many countries agree to this sentiment in principle but Somalia has been without a functioning government for over 20 years, and lacks any capacity to handle the prisoners. The U.N.-backed Transitional Federal Government is currently beset by multiple Islamist groups attempting to overthrow it and can barely maintain control over small parts of its capital, Mogadishu.

And even if it were possible to return the convicted pirates, many fear that bribes paid with the millions of dollars in ransom money earned by the pirates would easily secure their freedom.

The U.N. Security Council asked Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to draft a plan for the future prosecution and imprisonment of pirates last month. The plan, which is due around late July, could establish a tribunal to deal with the issue, but until then the prosecution of Somali pirates will remain an international puzzle.

NEWS Flash - Referral to International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda

On May 11th 2010, based on a suggestion from a contributing blogger, The Mouvman made a referral to the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. The referral was based on new information published in a recent article written by Christopher Gill and posted on the Blog LAVWA Seychelles. It requests that the Tribunal reopen the investigation to determine the complicity of Michel the Collaborator, the President of Seychelles, in possibly knowingly selling 80 tons of weapons to the Rwandan Hutu militia, in violation of a UN arms embargo. The weapons were seized by the Seychelles government from the ship Malo. These weapons ultimately ended up in Rwanda, instead of Zaire, which was the stated destination in a forged "end user certificate". The weapons are believed to have been used in perpetrating some of the deaths in the genocide of approximately 1,000,000 Rwandans.

On Forgetting the Past - Comment to Sandra McLeman

Sandra McLeman:

If you do not forgive or forget the past then what do you do with it? Sweep it under the carpet and pretend it never happened? Is that what you are asking us to do?

In Seychelles like in most countries the past informs the present and will define our future to a large extent. The allied forces knew that when they evicted all Germanic people from Czechoslovakia, Poland and hitherto Eastern Parts of Germany and relocated them to Germany. Many of these Germanic peoples were living in these lands for several hundred years. But the allies knew that their continued presence on "occupied" land could be an excuse for future mischief in those areas. The same occurred throughout the Micronesian islands where the American occupying forces evicted residents of Japanese ancestry back to Japan. Many of whom had married local wives and were third of fourth generation residents who had never seen Japan. The American and British can redress past crimes against humanity and we cannot or should not? Why?

In our case, Rene exiled about 30% of our people. Yes some of them would have gone anyway. But a vast majority was content to stay in their homeland and work to build the country as Seychelles Pour Seychellois - we had just obtained Independence from British colonial rule, our tourism picture looked bright and our fishing industry looked bright, and we had agreed to work together to better our homeland. So most of us wanted to stay. My family included.

Most of these exiles were replaced by Fabrike who supported and continue to prop up the failed PP Collaborator regime.

Only now are we fully analyzing the full nature and extent of the corrosive impact that the Fabrike have had on our liberty and in supporting a system of corruption and the fleecing of our motherland. Take for instance your friend Jeyasingh - a Fabrike. He refuses to say categorically he was not involved in money laundering activities when he worked with Nouvobank - despite numerous opportunities to do so. Many of the top managers at Nouvobanq are Fabrike. This bank is reputed to be the conduit for the alleged extensive money laundering activities occurring in our motherland, not in the past, but now. These connections to PP Collaborator crimes against the Seselwa Rasin people and their Fabrike can be found at all levels of our society. They are given Fabrike passports in many cases exactly because of the role they play in propping up the PP and for their participation in their corruption. Are we supposed to ignore this, accept it, tolerate it? Which one? Would you in your country? If not, why ask us to do it in ours?

The past Ms. McLeman, is not so far in the past - it is with us now. If we ignore it, we forfeit our liberty, we forfeit our motherland. So we cannot ignore the past - we must be educated by it

Fabrike Jeyasingh Refuses to Directly Deny Money Laundering Allegations

Submitted By:
Leonard Francis Gill

Mark Jeyasingh, a leader of the Fabrike, has persistently refused to deny any direct involvement or knowledge of money laundering activities in Seychelles while he worked for Nouvobanq. Jeyasingh was given multiple opportunities to simply deny that he was involved in or knew of such activities. Each time he dodged the question and responded "I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE".

Jeyasingh has also persistently refused to condemn the crimes against humanity perpetrated by Rene the Butcher against the Seselwa Rasin people.

Here is the excanhge of comments between Jeyasingh and various contributors to The Mouvman's Facebook page.

YOU READ YOU DECIDE if he is the law abiding citizen he is masquerading as.

John T Joe
Truth does hurt and you all run away from all those mess that you cause and hide in a foreign country , What a bunch of cowards !!

Mark Jeyasingh
What truth John? Tell me what allegation you are making. Or is this just another bigoted statement from a patriotic Rasin in New Zealand?

Leonard Francis Gill
Mark Jeyasingh: The truth that you work for Nouvobanq and palled around with Saeed who some believe has been instrumental in laundering wealth allegedly stolen from the Seselwa Rasin people by the PP Collaborators. So tell us Jeyasingh that you have no absolutely no knowledge of any such alleged laundering activities and have never participated in them in any capacity. Tell us straight.

Then tell us whey you won't condemn the PP Collaborator atrocities against the Seselwa Rasin people. That truth.

Tell us you have received no pay for the PP Collaborators in the last 12 months. That truth Jeyasingh.

We are eagerly awaiting your denials and explanations Jeyasingh - which to date, you have never provided.

I have finished talking to you Leonard, surely you must appreciate we cannot converse anymore.

My question was to you John T Joe. What truth are you alleging hurts me?

Leonard Francis Gill
Mark Jeyasingh:

There you go again dodging the hard questions. Why don't you just respond? Too inconvenient? Then you complain that people are drawing negative inferences from your refusal to simply state what any innocent person could after thrusting yourself headlong into a public debate.

Just say "I have absolutely no knowledge of money laundering activities which occurred at Nouvobanq while I was employed there and have never participated in such alleged activities in any way shape of form." What's so hard about that? Afraid we have facts that will contradict your statements of denial?

Just say that Rene the Butcher's alleged killings of Seselwa Rasin were wrong and that he should be brought to answer for these allegations before a court of law. What's so hard about that?

I personally want to know your answers to these simple questions. And you have the opportunity to address all the readers here with your answers. then they can factor all that into their opinions. Why duck this golden opportunity to set the record straight?

I'll say one thing to you Leonard, what part of "I'VE GOT NOTHING TO HIDE" does that doctorate mind of yours not understand?

Leonard Francis Gill
Mark Jeyasingh. Ahhh cooome on!! You expect us to accept this dodge of a denial "I have nothing to hide" as satisfactory. That's just another one of your manipulative and deceptive answers. And you complain people reading are taking the negative view of you and your position? Why can't yuo just make a clean and clear denial. I gave you most of the words. You do not even have to think them up yourself. Stop weaseling and tell us - tell us straight. Leonard Francis.

Mark Jeyasingh
Like I said we cannot converse extensively anymore Leonard. If John T Joe wants to make malicious allegations then its up to him. Otherwise the bigoted statement that he made stands exactly for what it is.

Leonard Francis Gill
Mark Jeyasingh:

Stop dodging the hard questions. The answers are simple. You can state your denials and then we can stop conversing - no problem. We are all waiting.

From your statement "I have nothing to hide" the logical inference that I draw is that you know or have been part of money laundering activities but did so on orders from "higher up... See More". So when an inquiry commences you will be able to safely spill the beans and have no personal accounting to give for your participation. The following orders defense - is that it?

Maybe that will fly as mitigation at a sentencing hearing, but not in this uncesored public debate. So own up to what you know and what you did. Otherwise stop moaning about defamation.

By the way calling someone a Nazi in many jurisdictions is defamatory per se - if the accused is not a member of a Nazi party; in case you wanted to know. But I am not concerned with that. I am concerned with your answers here, as all us readers are.

John i'm not sure you mean it matey. But it sounds like you're on my side now!

Leonard, nope thats not it. I have nothing to hide.

Leonard Francis Gill
Mark Jeyasingh: I think you have much to hide. I am tempted to call my lawyer and have a case filed in the next couple of hours to have you testify under oath. But I will resist the temptation. I prefer to hear you deny that you have not been involved in money laundering activities and know nothing about them and that you condemn the Butcher's crimes. And I do not want to intimidate you or anyone else from speaking their minds in a free and open debate. Leonard Francis

John T Joe
I'm wasting my time as we will never know the truth of it all !!

Surely a good Christian wouldn't have any problems swearing that he/she is innocent. Would you swear that you are innocent of the accusations Mr Jeyasingh? With your right hand on the holy bible? Would you?

Mark Jeyasingh
Is there a ghost in the room? or is it just the voices in somebodies head?

We are all going to be swearing on the bible shortly, well at least the human beings in the room who have authored edited and published malicious defamatory material.

Would you care to join us as a grown up, or are you having too much fun playing your juvinile game (pretending to be Tsunz Tzu) and hiding under mommies skirt?

Citizenships in brief - Tomorrow's grief

By: Patrick X

The donation of citizenships by the PL to pretty much any foreign national who is interested in 'investing' in Seychelles may indeed be a quick way to make a buck or two for both the country and its leaders, but what we as a nation are facing in the long run is a line of problems that stretch from State House all the way to the pockets of every single Seychellois(not every Seychelles citizen).

By acquiring Seychelles citizenship one is given the right to the same priveleges as a a Seychellois born in addition to extra rights that we others can dream about. That however is another issue and another problem. The donation of citizenships to the likes of Ramadoss, Jeyasingh and others who see Seychelles as a have where they can spread their wings and get fat in short time is in the long rung going to put us all on a long and painful diet unless the practice is stopped immediately and/or reduced to an absolute minimum.

Our population has in the last 20-30 years grown from approximately 65.000 to a whopping 80.000 souls, a remarkable increase indeed for such a small place. Many will think that this is excellent as a larger population will mean more labour, more economical growth etc. Wrong! Our population has grown, but never have we had more expats than now working in our main industies. One would think that our population would be sufficient enough to supply the manpower needed for our hotels, fisheries, small factories etc, but alas this is not the case. Expats are being flown in and many are staying with freshly obtained passports blessed by Dept of Immigration on behalf of the PL.

The population in Seychelles also consists of a majority who are below 35 years of age and it is this part that is going to be a major concern in the not so distant future. Having a retirement age of 65, 62 for some, we will in the near future have a pension boom that will knock the economy off its feet, that is if it has managed to get back on its feet by then. We are talking about pension expenses being a major part of the country's national budget in a mere 30 years or so, i.e before we have even finished paying off debt acquired prior to the financial crisis. The SBS should be able to supply figures stating how many will reach their pension age each successive year from now on and he next 50 years.

Now, what does this have to do with the giving away of citizenships to any Tom, Dick and Harry? Well, let's say Tom has a wife and 2 children and so do Dick and Harry. That means for every citizenship we approve, another 3 are liable to be approved too according to the law meaning that every new citizen becomes 4 newbees to our community. So with our three new citizens we suddenly have 12 newcomers to our country and eventually our pension box, a case of exponential growth that they apparently didn't teach our Minister of Finance during his studies in Cuba. So let's say that we on average get 200 new citizens per annum the next 10 years, it will mean a population growth of 200x4x10 = 8000 new citizens just through the PL's CDS(Citizenship Donation Scheme).

This again means that by the time that generation reaches their pension age and decide to retire excercise their right and return to Seychelles as pensioners, the pension queue bill will have to be shared with them even if they have never worked in Seychelles nor contributed a cent with Social Security. Again, like all PL cock-ups, the bill will in good socialist spirit be sent to guess who? That's right, those of you who can afford it least. Imagine yourself as a a pensioner after working hard all your life and having to live on a minimum because the money available for pension has to be shared with 8000+ others who havn't contributed with a single cetnt to get theirs. That's socialism at its best.

Some of our new citizens will indeed work in Seychelles and contribute to the cause, but the majority of our 'new citizens' will not, but will more than eagerly collect their 'rightful share' of the dealings in due time, rest assure. I have my doubts that our government's financial brains have even give the problem a single thought either due to lack of knowledge or lack of will to deal with realistic problems. The PL are also not exactly known to think long term unless it is about something they will personally benefit from. We are already facing a challenge where new citizens who own apartments at Eden Island are using their rights as Seychelles citizens to rent out their property hence threatening other legitimate businesses'(hotels and guest houses) existence. Let us now make sure that they do not threaten our existence as pensioners when that time comes.

The Genocide in Rwanda-The Seychelles Connection

By: Christopher Gill

Introduction

On Saturday, 23 November, 1996, the Chief Reporter of The Independent, Steve Boggan, stumbled upon an issue concerning the Rwanda Genocide, that missed the culpability of numerous members of the Seychelles Government.

Had Mr. Boggan gotten a few facts correct, the International Courts of Justice, would have sent investigators to Seychelles before the dawn of the Millennium. Mr. Boggan came very close indeed but missed the mark, just a little.

80 Tons of Weapons in Seychelles

In the first paragraph of the article, he says,” For once, it appeared a UN arms embargo had worked. A Ship, the Malo, carrying 80 tons of weapons bound for troubled Somalia, had been seized by the Government of the Seychelles”.

The error of fact, in this article is this: The “Malo” was not seized by the Government of Seychelles per se.
The Maria or the Malo at the time, the Constitution of the Third Republic was being drafted. The Port Authority called in to James Michel who sat directly across me, his driver interrupted the proceedings, and gave him the news of a boat in distress. The Maria’s engine had broken down and the boat was adrift. The Harbour Master later confirmed that the name of the boat was the “Maria”. This was highlighted when the SBC film crew filmed the ship coming into port. The name “Maria” had been painted over quickly with undercoat, and “Malo” name next to it.
The duplicity of names was visible to the eye of even the television viewers. This issue was never explained by either James Michel or Albert Rene, and it was the beginning of a cover up that would end up in massacre of over One Million (1,000,000,000) Tutsi’s in Rwanda in April and May of 1994, one year after the Constitutional Commission convened the second time to draft a new constitution for Seychelles.

No Seizure on High Seas of Malo Ever Took Place

There was no effort by the Government of Seychelles to seize a ship with arms. Once the broken engine ship was brought to Port Victoria, the ship was bordered and inspected by Port officials. With the first crate being opened, the Customs officials called in the Army.

Then the 80 tons of arms was discovered and seized by the Government of Seychelles. Booty worth its weight in gold.

Mr. Boggan says in his article, “It was 1993 and the UN had banned sales of weapons to Somalia as warring clansmen reduced the country to chaos. “In impounding this ship, “James Michel, the Seychelles Defence Minister, said, “We did the international community a service.” Mr. Michel obviously was covering up the accident of stumbling upon the ship called the Maria then called the Malo. He neglected to say that the Port Authority of Seychelles simply were responding to a distress call and stumbled upon the 80 ton cargo of arms.

At the time, the arms consignment upon being seized by Government of Seychelles, was off loaded from the ship, and made its way to bunkers at Grand Police Bay Army base for storage. Under James Michel command as Minister of Defence, Seychelles Government had taken full uncontested control of all the Malo ship 80 tons of weapons.
As the death toll in Somalia had been mounted, Mr. Michel claimed that a great service had been done to the People of Somalia, in Mr. Boggan’s article.

Within the year, according to Mr Boggan and two (2) months according to me, the weapons had been targeted by unscrupulous operatives of a new arms procurement network....set up to devise ways of circumventing another embargo of sale of arms to Rwanda.”(Boggan Article).

The deception of calling the ship the “Malo”, allowed everyone, including the Government of Seychelles leadership, to infer that the arms were destined for Somalia. The question that the International Courts of Justice Committee on Rwanda Genocide need to answer, is what did the Manifest for the “Maria” list as its final destination? With that question answered, we will know if the new suitors for these arms were indeed new suitors, unbeknown to Mr. James Michel and Mr. Albert Rene, or were the suitors, just calling in to collect their goods, after a short delay and payment of handling fees.

Mr. Boggan writes inferring that Mr. Michel was too stupid to realize that the suitors for the 80 tons of weapons were indeed innocent purchasers. A brilliant publicity stunt by the reporter, if Mr. Michel was paying for the article he could not ask for a better escape valve.

I quote:”Mr. Michel and his colleagues did not know it, but they were about to fall victim to Colonel Theoneste Bagosora. Colonel Bagosora , a former Rwanda government defence official, had become the master arms buyer for the Rwandan government in exile as it regrouped for what, had it happened, would surely, have been one of the bloodiest wars in African history. The planned returned to Rwanda was codenamed Operation Insecticide by Hutu militias.”

Now Mr. Boggan wants us to believe that James Michel controlled 80 tons of arms and he did not know who he was selling it to? Now that is incredible. Even Bollywood could not think of that one.
UN Unpublished Report on Arms Sale to Rwanda.

According to the UN unpublished report on the Arms sale to Rwanda, the Malo arms were sold using Zaire government End User Certificates (EUC’s).

Mr. Michel exercised no due diligence to verify that the end user certificates were valid. They usually are not. But he just accepted what was shown to him. No phone calls, no faxes, no investigation conducted by not even a lawyer in Zaire. No call to the government of Zaire. Check the Cable and Wireless records.

South African Apartheid Government Contact Makes Deal with Michel

The person that approached the Government of Seychelles in June 1994, to buy the 80 tons of weapons was a man named Wilhelm Terius Ehlers, known as Ters Ehlers, a former senior official in the apartheid government- and Colonel Theoneste Bagosora, a senior official of the Rwandan Ministry of Defence of the Hutu government in exile, in Zaire. These two men arrived in Seychelles to negotiate the purchase of the arms. It has been said, but not confirmed, that Glenny Savy did some of the negotiations on behalf of Mr. Michel and Mr. Rene.

When interviewed in Goma in February 1995 by the Human Rights Watch researcher, Colonel Bagosora said he had met with South African officials at the end of May (likely Teruis Ehlers) and June 1994 to arrange weapons shipments to the former Rwandan military. The officials (presumably Terius Ehlers) has refused to consider direct South African arms shipment but had offered to help to arrange shipments by other parties (presumably the 1994 Seychelles Government, headed by Rene and Michel).

The Shipment to Rwanda through Goma

The UN unpublished report says, on the nights of 16-17 and 18-19 June 1994, two planes of Air Zaire flew the weapons from the Seychelles government –controlled stockpile, to Goma airport. The weapons were then transferred to the ex FAR military forces in Gisenyi just across the border inside Rwanda.
The weapons included, anti tank and fragmentation grenades and high calibre ammunition. According to Human Rights Watch, an Air Zaire DC-8 aircraft with the call sign 9Q-CLV had transported the arms from the Seychelles to the Zairian town of Goma in two separate flights.

UN International Commission of Inquiry (March 1996)

The Commission found that a “highly probable” violation of arms embargo had taken place in June 1994 involving more than 80 tons of weapons purchased in Seychelles by Colonel Bagosoro ( Rwanda citizen), former high ranking officer of the former Rwanda-ese government forces.

The UN International Commission of Inquiry, now needs to ask whether Mr. Rene’s Government and Mr. Michel should have known that Colonel Bagosoro entering Seychelles with a Rwanda passport, would be legitimate grounds to question the authenticity of the Zaire sealed end user certificate?

A little hint to the UN International Commission of Inquiry on Rwanda Genocide: Colonel Bagosoro went through the VIP Lounge, at night under the cover of darkness. His entry into Seychelles, as a businessman will not be found at the Department of Immigration, nor will Mr. Teruis Elhers entry be found.

Finally, you can check with the ANC Government of South Africa, and you will confirm that Government of Seychelles, in 1994, made no attempt to clear Terius Elhers as a credible businessman in the purchase and sale of arms, carrying a South African passport.

The Statute of Limitations (SOL) on “Genocide” never ceases to run, especially for 1,000,000,000 people.
We Seselwa Rasin condemn acts whether direct or indirect that aid and abet genocide anywhere in the World. We call on the UN International Commission on Inquiry to get to work on the Rwanda Genocide and bring to justice all those that aided and abetted in the realization of Genocide in Rwanda in 1994.

The time ticks, but it does not run out

One little detail UN Commission of Inquiry, if anything happens to me, you know who did it and prosecute that as well.

The Mouvman's Report of Tourist Industry Meeting with the IMF

Submitted by: Christopher Gill
The following blog is from “meeting notes” of Christopher Gill in a meeting of SHTA with the IMF on May 7th, 2010. The views are not of SHTA, nor is the blog an official document. The document is written and loaded as a blog in the interest of educating the Public and making them aware of IMF’s role in Seychelles and to stimulate public debate on all the issues raised. Any opinion is welcomed.
Seychelles Tourism Industry Meets with International Monetary Fund (IMF)

The IMF delegation to Seychelles met on Friday with the Tourism Trade Industry for a debriefing on progress of the IMF recommended reforms underway in Seychelles. The program is to last for Three (3) years.

The delegation representing the IMF was led by Mr. Jean Le Dem, Division Chief of the African Department , with support of Madam Nkunde Mwase , Economist, Strategy, Policy and Review Department, and Mr. Nikoloze Gigineishvili, Economist.

Representing the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Association (SHTA) were Jennifer Sinon, CEO, Daniela Alise-Payet, Executive Secretary, and Christopher Gill, Executive Committee member and Chairman of Ecology and Public Safety Subcommittee, and Mr. Paul Hodoul, representing the Seychelles Car Hire Association.

Madam Daniela Payet stressed that the Tourism Industry did its utmost in 2009, to fight the retrenchment of Visitor Arrivals in light of the ongoing global economic downturn and recession in Europe, our main market. The final numbers at the end of the year were -1%. However, the total receivables for the year was down -20%. This was stressed to be a result of heavy discounting from the trade, and visitor’s now being noticeably conscious of prices, seeking out value for money bargains. Seychelles has traditionally been an upmarket destination, marketed as an Aut De Gamme destination.

Outlook for 2010 and 2011 was perceived to be more serious and worse than 2009, with an estimated -5% in Visitor Arrivals and a greater reduction in total revenue to the Industry, exceeding -20% of last year.
Mr.Paul Hodoul stressed that the car hires in Seychelles, have had to reduce rental fees by 20% or more. Cars that rented for euro 50.00 in the past, is now renting for euro 30.00. There is a remarkable reduction in revenue for the trade. Additional fall of the Euro against the US Dollar, has added additional calamity to the Industry in the first quarter of 2010. Similar discounting is expected in the second quarter of 2010.

Mr. Christopher Gill said the projected reduction in volume of -5% or -10% in 2010 is a result of lack of proper coordination between Air Seychelles, and STB, Marketing in part. For example, the UK market was launched last year, and at the same time, Air Seychelles, had signed agreements to pre sell 60% of seats from London, to an agent selling seats to Mauritius on Air Seychelles.

Hence visitors wanting a direct flight from UK to Seychelles, cannot get seats. Unless this is rectified, we will continue to see a downward trend from the UK market, a market that was re-launched in 2009, Alain Strange of the STB.

In the case of the South Africa market, the Tourism Trade has said that Eden Island, bound visitors take up seating on Air Seychelles, and travel agents are having trouble getting seating on Air Seychelles. No other carrier flies from South Africa to Seychelles. If we need more Tourists, we will need more flights. Either Air Seychelles provide additional flights, or allow another company to provide additional flights. This will ensure increase in volume of Arrivals and Revenue, Mr. Gill said.

Mr. Gill said, in the case of Eden Island, we have an initial project conceptualized around the retirement home community concept, that has now sought a change of use for the time share apartments, and they now compete directly with the Tourism Infrastructure of the Seychelles.

Mr. Gill said, a hotel was approved for Eden Island, but it has not been built yet. Most of these Eden Island room nights, are likely banked overseas, and Government of Seychelles will not see that revenue. Hence, this will result in lower revenue volume for Seychelles in 2010. This is no small matter for Seychelles. It is a major issue buried to help Eden Island survive the downturn. It is Seychelles Lehman Brothers, if you will.
Mr. Gill stressed that many hotels are not focusing on making a profit in 2010, but they are focused on cutting losses. He said: “they are minimizing losses this year, instead of working to maximize profits”. That sums up the Seychelles business climate in 2010.

Mr. Nicoloz Gigineishvili stressed that it appears to be a very difficult year, 2010.

Mr. Gill added that the years will get more difficult for the trade. If Eden Island is allowed to convert all its units to visitor beds, it will be the destruction of the Industry infrastructure as we know it. Rates at Eden Island vary from Euro 50.00-150.00 per night. These rates will cause havoc in the Industry faced with high end overheads and operating costs. It will result in less revenue for the Revenue Commission of Seychelles as well. It is estimated that 220 units are complete or near complete. That represents 500 visitor beds at least. Once the project is completed with 660 units, we will have an estimated 1,300 beds or more. The rates in Seychelles for Three (3) star will drop to Euro 30.00 per night. Four star rates will go to Euro 40.00 –Euro 60.00 per night if this train is not derailed fast.

Unfortunately, the Government of Seychelles cannot seem to control the revenue from these apartment hotels. This will result in overall less revenue volume for the Government, and the Country will sink further into the abyss. Hence 2010 and 2011 according to Gill, unless there is a change in Government policy concerning Eden Island, will result in less revenue volume for Seychelles.

Mr. Gill asked Mr. Dem, under what conditions will IMF review the Country program of Seychelles, in light of prevailing bad governance and corrupt practice ongoing that are not brought to justice by the current administration?

Mr. Dem replied, IMF is making a conditional (recommendations) meaningful review of the Marco economic program of the Seychelles, taking in light, better governance practice, and improvements in procurement process. IMF does not investigate a country under administration. If there is a huge amount of corruption, or a systematic pattern of corruption, that undermines the macroeconomic foundations of the reform, then IMF will look into such cases.

Mr. Gill asked, if the Khalifa case, of over 1000 containers tax free entering the country, the import of 20 BMW x 5 series for Scr 25.00 each, the systematic granting of concessions in projects Sheik Khalifa has interests, selling off of over 66 acres of Government land to one person over a number of years, importation of over 2000 workers free of GOP’s, hundreds beyond permits or knowledge of the government, use of an illegal, unlicensed Class One building contractor without any governmental sanctions, amounts to a systematic pattern of corruption ongoing that would affect the Marco economic stability of Seychelles, given that it is a micro state?

Mr. Dem: Well, put that way, it is beginning to look like a pattern, but we will need to verify the information, to determine if it is a systematic pattern.

International Press Points Corruption Finger at PP Collaborators

The corruption at the top levels of the Seychelles government is becoming international news. It appears now to be common knowledge on the international circuit that corrupt PP Collaborator government officials in Seychelles, aided Radovan Krejcir escape his day in court in his homeland. The PP Collaborator government continues to drag our motherland's good name through the mud. They have reduced our country to a means of furthering their criminal enterprises, which now may include illicit arms smuggling, kidnapping and other serious charges alleged in various court cases filed around the world. We must waste no time in removing the PP Collaborators from power and canceling all these counterfeit or Fabrike citizenships including that issued to Krejcir.

In that effort, we will be met with stiff resistance from Fabrike like Mark Jeyasingh who has defended Fabrike citizenship, which logically includes the Fabrike citizenship issued to internationally wanted men like Krejcir. However, we must spare no effort in redeeming our motherland's international reputation. It is also absolutely essential to the development of a democracy in Seychelles to cancel all Fabrike citizenships since the PP Collaborator government has and will continue to rely on Fabrike like Krejcir and fraudulent voters for up to 30% of the total votes they receive.

Most notorious Czech fugitive becomes South African state witness

Czech international Radovan Krejcir is allegedly being treated as a state witness in the murder case of South African strip king Lolly Jackson. He is reported to have offered full cooperation to investigators. Jackson was allegedly shot 15 times on Monday (May 3, 2010) in Johannesburg. A Cyprian man by the name George Smith is accused of his murder.
Police said that Smith was linked to Krejcir having allegedly worked for the Czech criminal, who is wanted for several criminal offenses in his native land. Police said that Krejcir and Jackson were being charged on allegations of money laundering in which Smith was also involved. The Czech’s lawyer told the press that his client is not being treated as a suspect, despite the fact his house had been searched.
Two years ago a corrupt South African judge ruled against the extradition of billionaire Krejcir, whom the Czech authorities have dubbed “the country’s most notorious fugitive.” He was arrested in Johannesburg a year earlier. Prague Radio at the time said that the South African decision was another step helping Krejcir to escape Czech justice forever as the South African judge had ruled that “the murder plot and 3-bil Czech Koruna tax fraud (Krejcir was accused of) are not considered) is not a crime in South Africa. (Isn’t it ironical how useless Interpol is in such simple cases? – editor).
At the time Czech Interior Minister Ivan Langer said, “The news from Johannesburg is very disheartening, and a very bad blow for the Czech Republic.” Despite his absence Krejcir had been sentenced to six and a half years for tax fraud. He is also charged for various crimes (attempted murder, counterfeiting, extortion and abduction).
The Czech Justice Ministry did not agree with the South African judge, and said it would keep the case open as long as necessary. Krejcir escaped with his family to Seychelles, which has no extradition agreements with the Czech Republic. Obviously Seychelles knew he had a very good Swiss bank account. Allegedly several corrupt politicians had been tipped off to help Krejcir and his family escape justice.

RE: Objection To Notice of Application of Citizenship Mr. Jean Jacques Vallet

Dear Sirs/Madam:

I am writing pursuant to notice in the Nation May 5th, 2010, Section 5 (2) or Section (6) Notice of intention to apply for naturalisation by Mr. Jean Jacques Vallet.
I am registering officially, my objection to the naturalisation of this individual as a Seychellois, under the following grounds:
1. Entry into Seychelles is not grounds for citizenship, as the applicant was working as a Director of Constance hotels at all material times and came and returned to Seychelles regularly in the ordinary course of his business;
2. The Applicant has not demonstrated sufficient special circumstance to warrant a grant of Citizenship;
3. The absurdity of the application is that the Applicant cites special circumstance as being a Director of Constance Group which manages 5 star hotels;
4. Constance Group regularly implements a Policy of deny reasonable access to the Anse Georgette beach to visitors and Seychellois alike, a policy that the applicant has done nothing as Director to stop.

Sincerely,

Christopher Gill

NEWS Flash!!! Irish Cops in Seychelles Involved in Financial Piracy & Kidnaping According to Allegations

PRESS RELEASE FROM KEATING &CO.

Lawsuit Charges Seychelles With Intimidating Children and Kidnapping In Furtherance of Financial Piracy

NEW YORK - (Business Wire) Stephen Scholes and Terence Stewart today filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York seeking to recover $460,000 that they allege the Republic of Seychelles illegally seized from them and $5 million in damages for their three-month kidnapping at the hands of Seychelles agents.

Stephen Scholes and Terence Stewart, two small businessmen, live in the Canary Islands. According to the Complaint, Messrs. Scholes and Stewart sought funding for local projects from two entities, InProgramme SAS and Fast Trading Group that turned out – unbeknownst to Messrs. Scholes and Stewart – to be international fraudsters. As the Complaint contends, these two fraudulent companies had contracted with Mr. Scholes and two of his companies to conduct securities trades on two bank guaranties, splitting the trade profits with Mr. Scholes’ companies. The Complaint also alleges that under the contracts, Mr. Scholes, in January 2009, caused his two companies to pay a total of €700,000 (approximately USD $1 million) to the criminal entities, each of which claimed to be linked to the Qatari Royal Family. Mr. Scholes established a bank account at Barclays Bank in the Republic of Seychelles (“Barclays”) for these business ventures.

When, as alleged in the Complaint, the fraudsters failed to perform on the contracts, Mr. Scholes began to complain to the authorities. The fraudsters responded in August 2009, by returning Mr. Scholes’ funds plus apparent interest to his Barclays account. According to the Complaint, without basis and in furtherance of Seychelles’ financial piracy, Barclays already had identified the Barclays bank account as a target for the Seychelles Financial Intelligence Unit (“FIU”). As alleged, Mr. Scholes traveled to Seychelles in September 2009, to meet with Barclays employees. As portrayed in the Complaint, Seychelles then, prompted and assisted by a local Barclays employee, imprisoned Mr. Scholes based on false charges. Seychelles also imprisoned Mr. Scholes’ business associate, Terence Stewart, who had traveled to Seychelles merely to open a bank account. As the Complaint charges Barclays prompted and assisted these actions even though Barclays itself had concluded that Scholes had been the victim of fraud.

As the Complaint pleads, Seychelles imprisoned Messrs. Stewart and Scholes for 28 days and then continued their confinement on the island of Mahe for another two and a half months. Mr. Scholes had made the mistake of bringing his wife and daughters on the trip. As pleaded, the Seychelles authorities interrogated his older child, Jessica Scholes (a minor), on multiple occasions when they found her unaccompanied by a parent. According to the Complaint, during one of these interrogations, Seychelles agents threatened to arrest her mother and take the children into care by Seychelles authorities.

“Our Complaint alleges that the Seychelles government is so hungry for funds, that it has resorted to kidnapping and the threat of false drug and money-laundering charges, to extort money from people who have the misfortune of choosing to deposit funds with Barclays Bank in the Seychelles,” said Craig Weiner, an attorney at Hofheimer Gartlir & Gross, LLP in New York City, which represents Messrs. Scholes and Stewart, together with the other Plaintiffs. “As set forth in the Complaint, Seychelles and its hired henchmen of the FIU are now strong-arming little girls and holding people hostage with fear of imprisonment on fabricated drug and money-laundering charges, all in a quest to fill its coffers by almost any means necessary.” Mr. Weiner added, summarizing the allegations made in the Complaint.
As the Complaint also charges, Seychelles went through various machinations to create phony evidence and bring false charges against Messrs. Scholes and Stewart. For example, the Complaint alleges that Seychelles agents used Mr. Scholes’ e-mail account to send bogus e-mails to his contacts in an effort to create some indicia of wrongdoing. As also alleged in the Complaint, a Barclays employee submitted false accusatory statements at the request of the FIU to justify the false imprisonment of Messrs. Scholes and Stewart.

As set forth in the Complaint, the agents of Seychelles indicated that they would plant illegal drugs upon Messrs. Scholes and Stewart if they refused to plead guilty to false charges. Unable to return home and facing manufactured drug charges, Messrs. Scholes and Stewart, under extreme duress, each plead guilty to a Seychelles misdemeanor, and paid the aggregate of $460,000 in ransom. The Complaint pleads that Seychelles punished Mr. Scholes and his companies “for having been gullible victims of fraudsters” and Mr. Stewart for very little reason at all.
The Complaint also alleges that the FIU has subcontracted its operations to Barry Galvin, Liam Hogan, Declan Barber, Joe Cully and John Heelan, who are former members of the Irish national police force, Irish secret police and/or a secret Irish military unit. This is not the first time that Messrs. Galvin, Hogan and Barber have been sued for the actions they have undertaken in the Seychelles.

President Michel Meets Polytechnic Students

By: Christopher Gill

President Michel Meets Polytechnic Students
Mr. President his Excellency, James Alix Michel author of the year, has taken to the road show to meet with the people of Seychelles. The cameras have been packed again, the bodyguards shaped up, and the girls in the back ground given fresh consignment of lipstick to carry over the day between meeting the students and meeting in Shanghai.

The Polytechnic School A Levels
The SBC allowed us a little peak of events into the meeting with Mr. President. The style his own, no other man could emulate.

Try To Get On The Bus Gus!
When asked about the lack of buses available to the students of the school who are disregarded by bus drivers who take other passengers, the President demonstrated sheer leadership style, and told the students, “more buses are coming”, and I will address this matter with the SPTC right away.
How is that for leadership style? No one can beat that. Though we have had buses coming for the last 34 years, but they were never enough to cope with demand.

University of Seychelles
The feather in cap that Jean Paul Adam and Rolf Payet claim for the last Six (6) of effort is the University of Seychelles. It is the single most prominent accomplishment Mr. President has achieved to date.
Polytechnic students recall well the key item that determines the educational value of any university: the volumes of books for research available in the library. Mr. President did not bother to count. 1,2, 3, 4 volumes?
But in this day and age of information technology, adequate bandwidth can give you access to volumes of books the world over. Mr. President did not tell you he failed to give us fibre optic connectivity and adequate bandwidth in order that the 36 students at University of Seychelles can read and do research and compete on a level playing field as all other students in the world.
Today that will cost $35 million Mr. President. Now, students of the Polytechnic, could President Michel afford to sell St. Anne for SCR 1.00 if he knew he had those costs for a University to deal with?

Was it leadership to sell La Misere for SCR 1.00 or to even sell 27 plot of land to Sheik Khalifa if we needed $35 Million for fibre optic cables to connect your internet services and bring them on par with other students in other universities, around the world?
Student of the Polytechnic, do not settle for less. The students in Mauritius do not settle for less. Not even on Rodrigues. Why should Seychelles be settling for less. Demand performance from your President, not excuses that are 34 years old.!!!!!
Without Bandwidth, the long distance learning programs that the University centres its courses on, will only be able to handle limited amount of pupils. A university experience Mr. President, in case you did not know, and Jean Paul or Rolf did not tell you, is valuable not if one sits before a computer, but one has to face the challenges of debate and ideas in the arena of knowledge.
As Mr. President undersold our assets, now we need a loan from IFC to pay for the optic connection. That is leadership, JJ style.

Where Is The Speed Boat Rolf?
In the conception presentation of the University of Seychelles, Mr. Rolf Payet gave us a picture of a new glass building sea side with a jetty and speed boat. Mr. Payet power pointed us to death on SBC with that picture.
Students and Parents, recall well when Mr. Payet power point us to death, I wrote, that, we must not waste money on new buildings. We need books. Convert the Polytechnic to a University and the NIE to a branch of the University. As fate would have it, this has been realized, not because of Christopher Gill, but because Mr. President has BANKRUPTED Seychelles. This is so, for we have lived the early days of bankruptcy. It is not over.
As Rolf crunches the figures to come up now with a power point to justify the failures of JJ, remember, Rolf is hired to make the failures look like a success, to steal our country from us. Do not be fooled!

NEWS Flash!!! Mauritian Jean Jacques Vallet Becoming a Fabrike

Submitted by:

Leonard Francis Gill

On May 5th 2010, Mauritian Jean Jacques Vallet of Allee Des Cypres, Floreal, Mauritius, posted his notice in Nation Newspaper expressing his intentions of applying for Seychellois citizenship.

Vallet says he is entitled be a Seychellois because "I am the Chief Officer of Constance Hotels in charge of Lemuria and Ephilia Projects, both 5-star tourism establishments and I have been actively involved with the projects. In the course of my work, I have developed an affinity with Seychelles and its people."

This application is insulting and patronizing to the Seselwa Rasin people. It is fraudulent on its face since, in The Mouvman's opinion, it fails to establish any "special circumstance" that it claims exist. For this reason alone, it should be categorically rejected. Moreover, granting citizenship to any foreigner on the basis of their employment and their "affinity" for the "Seychelles and its people" is patently absurd.

It is believed by some Seselwa Rasin that the establishments which employ Vallet are connected with the PP Collaborator leadership from the national level to the local level on Praslin island Seychelles, where Lemuria Hotel is located. Moreover, it is well known in Praslin that these establishments have what are believed to be extensive business connections with close family relations of the  PP Collaborator MNA's representing Praslin in the National Assembly, the legislative body of Seychelles. Given these facts, this application, in The Mouvman's opinion, has a strong whiff of corruption associated with it, as is the case for many application previously submitted by current Fabrtike or counterfeit Seychellois.

What is also clear is that the PP Collaborator counterfeit citizenship machine is in full swing to create as many Fabrike as they can in anticipation of the coming election. The cumulative impact of all the Fabrike created by the PP Collaborators and the fraudulent voters they are likely to place on the electoral role will be the deciding factor in any election in Seychelles. These fraudulent and Fabrike voters are estimated to represent up to 15% of the total persons likely to vote and approximately 30% of the total votes cast for the PP Collaborators whose claimed margin of "victory" is between 2-4% of the voting public.
