IUS Suffrage's Comment on Herr Fabrike Jeyasingh's Thin Skin

Herr Jayasingh you are taking all this rather personally and you display all the symptoms of a man on the defensive. If you don't have anything to hide, take it easy buddy.

With regards to my identity, you should know by now that many who openly defied Rene and his mafia have been killed and that includes our great hero and leader Gerard Hoarau who was killed in the streets of London. I have taken General Sun Tzu's(The Art of War) advice to choose my own time and place of engagement. For now you will have to put up with the enigma that is Ius Suffrage. I may be the guy sitting next to you at the bar of the Beau Vallon Bay or one of the babes in Francis Savy's fashion shows.

This bunch of rabble who run our country have no idea what the word policy means. We need a clear policy on immigration that should put the interest of the country and people first. Seychelles is a small country and immigration should be tightly controlled to allow only those who can add value and contribute where a Seychellois cannot. There are many highly trained and professional Seychellois exiles who could contribute to their country but who face terrible impediments on coming back. We should do our best to bring back those people before bringing in immigrants. Again I reiterate that the Swiss model would be very appropriate for Seychelles as it would allow transparency.

You talk about democracy and periodic change of government in Seychelles. Do you know the history of Seychelles prior to June 5th 1977? If not then look it up and you can see that we had some very successful elections and the Seychellois understood and respected the concept of democracy. Perhaps you can ask Pauline Ferrari why her dad (a Chevalier du Pape) conspired in the overthrow of a democratically elected government to install a brutal dictatorship that has wrecked the Seychelles?

FDI in a country has nothing to do with immigration. Companies invariably will invest in economies with clear policies, independent legal systems, stable political systems where the rule of law is respected and where they can expect good returns on their investments. Responsible countries do not sell their citizenship and passports to attract investments. Do you think that the CEOs of all those Korean and Japanese car companies that are investing in Eastern Europe are getting Czech, Polish or Slovak passports? Again the buffoons that run our country have no economic development policy in place.

On the issue of patriotism, it is clear that the patriots of this country are highly frustrated by the way the current dictators are prostituting our passports and citizenship and thus the reaction that you see. What we need is a South African type Reconciliation Commission that will look into all the crimes and injustices and so lance the boil to clear the air of Rene's toxic legacy.

I see that Pauline's answers have degenerated to hahahahahaha. I think that as she stands on very slippery slopes, she has run out of arguments of any value.

You really should stop calling people Nazis.

  1. I understand your point Anonymous, but you must remember that some things that people have been breast-fed with if you understand me right, will remain in their blood forever. My generation is on the borderline between the old 'gran blan' mentality and the modern zero-tolerance to racism mentality. One cannot punish a person for their parents' beliefs and attitude.

Now think about one thing. What is more racist, a Seychellois white calling a black 'mazanbik' one day and having good mazabik friends elsewhere or an Indian who refuses to send his kids to school amongst Seychellois of all colours and instead sends them to school in India in case they get bad influence?

You'll find racists everywhere my friend either due to ignorance or simple rage racism that goes over after a beer or three. Have you for instance never 'maltret' anyone as 'dile Nido' or similar? I've certainly said my share of racist comments when I was a foolish young delinquant. Today I know better, but I have relatives who still don't and never will.

My point is that people cannot be punished or judged by their parents' actions and/or opinion.
